About Element Expeditions:   
As our appreciation for whitewater and surf kayaking developed we began looking for a way of  expanding our engagement in the paddling community while spending more time on the water.  The first opportunity presented when we began using wax: we noticed the overwhelming majority of products were petroleum-based, designed for and by the surfing industry.  While they adequately displaced water they did not improve adhesion, easily flaked & migrated off the grip area, and essentially were oil by-products.  In response we developed a paddlesport-specific, 100% natural, skin & watershed friendly wax that displaces water, increases adhesion and improves your linkage with the paddle.
